  • Details about the job (e.g. rooms/items to be cleaned, access notes)
  • Photographs of carpets, upholstery, or properties, taken before or after a clean, where relevant to the job or with your permission for use in reviews/marketing

How we use your information

We use your information to:

  • Provide quotes and carry out booked cleaning services
  • Contact you about your booking
  • Keep records for invoicing and tax purposes
  • Occasionally follow up with past customers (see Marketing below)

Marketing and follow-ups

We may occasionally get in touch with past customers, such as a courtesy call roughly every couple of years to check whether a repeat clean might be due. This is based on our legitimate interest in maintaining a relationship with existing customers, kept deliberately infrequent so as not to be intrusive. You can ask us to stop this at any time by contacting us using the details above.

Photographs

We sometimes take before/after photos of carpets or upholstery as part of our work. These are used for our own records and, where we believe they may be useful, for reviews or marketing on our website or social media. We will not use identifiable photos of your property or belongings for marketing purposes without your permission.

Cookies and analytics

How we store your information

Customer contact details and job records are currently kept in our physical yearly work diaries. The current year’s diary is kept with us while working; previous years’ diaries are stored securely at our premises.

How long we keep your information

We keep customer and job records for as long as necessary for tax and accounting purposes (generally up to 6 years, in line with HMRC requirements), after which older records are securely disposed of.

Sharing your information

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We may share limited information with:

  • Our website hosting provider (GoDaddy), to operate the website
  • WhatsApp/Meta, if you choose to contact us via WhatsApp
  • HMRC or our accountant, where required for tax purposes

Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Ask what personal information we hold about you
  • Ask us to correct inaccurate information
  • Ask us to delete your information
  • Object to how we use your information

Our services are intended for adults arranging cleaning services. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
